Huliaipole Museum of Local Lore
One of the best folk museums in the region is located in the village of Huliaipole.
The year of its foundation is 1960, when the Soviet government intended to carry culture to the countryside. It is interesting that this museum was given quite a unique place – this building used to be a "Society for Reciprocal Credit" bank, and the building was on the list of historical monuments, that had barely survived during the war and in difficult postwar years.
The main exposition of the Huliaipole Museum shows how primitive people lived on these lands, what traditions were inherent in them. A separate section of the exhibits is devoted to the interesting personality of our history – Nestor Makhno. Mainly due to this part of the exhibition, foreign guests come to the museum from Italy, France, Germany, Spain and other countries.
